6 Pack Recap

Last week: 7-4-1

Total: 19-23-1

Locky was down and out. You all were pointing fingers and laughing. A lot of you were fading my picks, saying you missed the old Locky. Well, now I’m on a heater, and you look at me and ask if I’m back.

We’ve been to the bottom. We were down and out. But like a Phoenix, we rose from the ashes. And like a Phoenix, I’m on a heater. Buy stock in Locky now; we are going to the moon. Here is last week’s recap.

Pitt @ Va Tech: Loss

Feels weird having an intro hyping up last weeks performance, just to start with a loss of the jump.

That’s why we make multiple picks. That might be why the 6 pack always turns into a 12 pack as well. Back to the game. Virginia Tech is still terrible, Pitt might just be terrible as well. I will not let this change my opinion on Va Tech. I will still fade them and probably lose. Again that’s why we make multiple picks

Troy @ Georgia State: Win

I hope you watched the Fun Belt this weekend; it was electric. Troy is the real deal. They have two loses this year, one to Kansas State and one to James Madison. Now a 21 point road win at Georgia State. This team will be a problem in the Fun Belt this year. Troy is one to keep an eye on going forward.

Michigan State @ Iowa: Push

What an electric push. The Iowa defense came through for us at the end to force a fumble and get the much needed field goal. One for the boosters and fans. Good teams win, great teams cover, and some teams push, I guess. Iowa is now averaging 22.2 points per game. Need to get that to 25+ to save Brian’s job. You know I’ll be following that story

South Alabama @ James Madison: Win

More Fun Belt, more wins for Locky. Maybe I should just become a Fun Belt picks blog. Look at James Madison; they are a wagon.

I’m not too sure what that’s all about, but I know I like it. Money is in the crumbs and and there are crumbs all over the carpet on the Sun Belt Conference.

Kansas at Texas: Loss

This one hurt. Kansas was driving in plus territory at the end of the game, trying to get the push on the total. They couldn’t execute and get it done. Remember, good teams win and great teams cover. Kansas did neither here. We knew Texas would have a field day with the Kansas defense. However, I thought Kansas could put up more than 14. Why do I put myself in a position to have Kansas let me down.

Notre Dame @ Duke: Win

I’ll be honest, I gave up on this one. I thought Notre Dame was going to run the clock out and kick a game winning field goal. They remembered that good teams win and great teams cover. Again it’s always good to get one for the boosters. A 30 yard touchdown run with 30 seconds left was exactly what we all needed. Big win for the boys.

There you are, finally a good week for the followers. Keep on riding, I will have a lot of winners this week. Remember, every pick is a winner until it’s not.
