6 Pack Recap

Week 1-5
Total 7-13

Pain. I can’t even look at the man in the mirror. I dropped the 6 pack while bringing the groceries inside this week. If you faded me… I hate you, but you’re welcome. If you rode, then remember this pain. We can only go up from here. Or go 0-6 next week, anything is possible. We are fine. Everything is fine.

Georgia came out flat and played terrible in the first half. Showed life in the 3rd quarter, but by then, it was too late. This game never had a chance. Kirby let Beamer get one for the boosters.

The Vandy one hurt. Up 17-0 and blow it. Why do my teams like going up 17-0 and losing outright? Many times, it seemed we would get this one home, but Vandy kept getting in their own way. Brutal.

Speaking of getting in their own way, what was that Purdue? How many times can you get in the red zone and not score? Purdue had a bad case of the fumbles. Play this one 10 times, and I think we come out on top more often than not. Ball security is job security.

Kansas State was back and forth all game with Missouri, but this still hurts. Losing on a 61 yard field goal is never fun. But, winning on a 62 yard field goal is very fun (thank you, Garibay).

Thank you, West Virginia. You saved me from putting up a Goose Egg. Big win in the back yard brawl. They know how to have a good time in Morgantown, so enjoy the win. The Red Raiders will bring you back to reality next week.

Iowa State is terrible. We were let down by a college kicker. That’s a tale as old as time. No matter the distance, you can never trust a college kicker. I really don’t know what Iowa State does from here. Campbell needs to figure something out fast.

I have some closing remarks I want to make to the fans of Locky Balboa.

I just want to say one thing to the fans and everybody in Locky Balboa Nation. I’m sorry.
Extremely sorry. We were hoping for an undefeated season. That was my goal. It’s something Locky has never done here. But I promise you one thing: a lot of good will come out of this.
You have never seen any blogger in the entire country blog as hard as I will blog the rest of this season, and you’ll never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of this season. You’ll never see a team blog harder than we will the rest of the season. God bless.

Some of you may say “Locky doesn’t care” or “that’s just the Tebow speech after the Ole Miss loss.” Well, I promise you that came straight from the heart. Thank you all for riding even through tough times. I will print up a copy of this blog and bury it in the back yard so we can move on to next week. We will ger back on track and pick winners. Remember every pick is a winner until it’s not. This week, they were not.
