Can’t complain with a profitable 6 pack. I might have gotten a little overzealous with a 50 burgers squeezed into my 30 rack. It was week one, and we had to go all out. On to week 2, it will only get better from here. Enjoy this 6 pack filled with flavor.
1. Chocolate Stout: Iowa State @ Iowa -2.5
You know it is mandatory for me to pick Iowa every week. I love their style of football; Iowa was made for football guys. Lucky for you, I win when picking Iowa games. I KNOW IOWA FOOTBALL. This game is your chocolate stout. Stout because of the strong flavors that pack a punch. The chocolate is added in as a special change of pace. Why? Because this Iowa team finally has an offense. Iowa State is too banged up for this game, they have no chance. Take Iowa to cover, take the over, and take Iowa team total over.

2. Rum: Texas Tech @ Washington State -2.5
In honor of Mike Leach, we have the Pirate Bowl. What do Pirates love? Rum. Texas Tech is looking venerable after holding on to beat Abilene Christian last week. Our Red Raiders will bounce back this week. They have to for my sanity. Also, it is the Pirates bowl, so this game must go over as well. I’ll take Tech to cover, win, and the over.

3. Sour Beer: Colorado @ Nebraska -6.5
Like a sour beer, Colorado is the big craze right now. Deion is a media darling, and the team is much more hyped than the level of talent on the roster should call for. Nebraska is a talented football team, and will get revenge at home. Give me the Corn Huskers -6.5.

4. Skunked Beer: Houston @ Oklahoma -27.5
This Houston team is as disgusting as a skunked golf bag beer. What a disappointing performance at home vs UNLV. Willie Fritz is a good coach and will probably get this right over time, but there are too many glaring holes on that team at this moment. Oklahoma will roll in this one.

5. IPA: Boise State @ Oregon -19
Boise State is the group of 5 pick for a lot of ball knowers to make the college football playoff. The ones in the know love this team. This is the ball knowers IPA. Unfortunately, I cannot ser them stopping Oregon at all this weekend. I’ll take Oregon and the over here.

6. Weekly On Tap Special: Georgia Tech @ Syracuse +3
Georgia Tech is the weeks bar special after starting off the year 2-0 and sneaking in the AP top 25. Everyone likes them after taking down FSU to start the year. They are this weeks special for a lot of people. Unfortunately, FSU has looked terrible and that win must be devalued more than originally thought. This is a decent Syracuse team and I will take them getting points at home to cover and win.
