6 Pack of Picks

Record: 24-29-3

We are back and ready for a big week. Boy, do I have some winners for you. The 6 pack will be everything you want, and the 12 pack will be everything you need. I’m going to make you a fortune this week. Come join me on this wonderful journey with our 6 pack full of flavor

1. Four Loko: Kansas State @ Texas Tech -1.5

Here we go folks the new four lokos. Four Lokos are back. They taste good and are very enjoyable, but different. Well, like the Four Lokos, the Red Raiders are back. The Red Raiders are also different. THEY ARE FINALLY COMMITTING TO RUNNING THE DAMN BALL.

The old Four Loko was dangerous and High Octane (also fun). Too much of it would hurt you in the end. Sounds like Techs offense in previous years. The new Four Loko is safer and still gets the job done. Sounds like what happens when you feed Taj Brooks. I hope Taj runs over 30 times again this game. This blackout night game at the Jones will be too much for the Wildcats to handle. Lay the 1.5 with Tech at home.

Pick: Texas Tech -1.5

2. Beer Flight: Kansas @ Oklahoma State +3

Best thing about a beer flight at a tap room or brewery? You get to try multiple flavors before finding the one you like. That reminds me of Gundy trying to choose a starting quarterback. He might have stuck to the flights for too long, but he finally found his beer: Alan Bowman.

Electric. We all know Bowman too well. He was a successful quarterback when healthy. The issue is that you have to emphasize “when healthy”. Oklahoma State is a sneaky team to keep an eye on the rest of the year. Their schedule is very favorable, and they should improve now that they don’t play 3 quarterbacks a game. No matter how bad things might look at times, you can’t count out Mike Gundy. They will win this game and will be a dark horse for the Big 12 title this year.

Pick: Oklahoma State +3

3. Non Alcoholic Beer: BYU @ TCU -6

Sorry, you are not allowed to have your beers for this one. We will have to enjoy O’Douls or Heineken 0.0s.

I don’t know what to make of BYU this year. They have looked competitive at times and terrible at other times. TCU had just looked terrible all year. I’m sure they will bounce back and burn me this week. Giving BYU 6 points in this game is too much. TCU doesn’t even have a quarterback that can play at this level of football. TCU will have to show us something before we decide to start investing in them. I will take the 6 with BYU in this religious battle.

Pick: BYU +6

4. Seltzers: Iowa @ Wisconsin -10

There are so many brands of seltzers out there. They are all just different versions of the same thing. Some are much better than others. Wisconsin is just a better version of Iowa. Hard-nosed defensive teams that play a boring offense. The difference is that Wisconsin can have success on offense. Iowa is just diet Wisconsin. That being said, I have told you all year that I will keep irrationally backing Iowa.

They need to average over 25 a game. They have a fat quarterback with a rocket of an arm. This game has a 10-point underdog with a game total of 34.5. Out of principle, you have to take the large underdog with such few points to be had. I will take the 10 points with the Hawkeyes.

Pick: Iowa+10

5. Stout: Troy @ Army -4.5

Here’s your Stout for this week. This will be a physical game. Army will try to run it down Troy’s throat and break their will. Army has played close games all year and lost to some bad teams. This Troy team has been tough all year. There is a lot of talent on this team. They have been impressive as of late winning 4 straight. Troy should carry momentum into this game and come out on top convincingly. I’m going to lay the 4.5 with Troy on the road.

Pick: Troy -4.5

6. Sour Beer: Miami @ UNC -2.5

The sour beer will make you pucker your lips, and it will leave a sour taste in your mouth. You will be tricked by the delicious sounding flavors, but they all taste the same. Overwhelmingly sour. Do you know what else will leave a sour taste in your mouth? Not kneeling the ball to run the clock out, leading to a turnover and last second loss. Imagine taking pride in being the guy who does not kneel the ball. Well, congratulations, it cause you to lose to Georgia Tech.

What’s the spin zone here? Cristobal is so patriotic that he refuses to kneel at any time? I honestly dont know, but this could’ve been and should’ve been a match-up of two hyped up undefeated teams. Now I don’t know what to do with Miami. It either all crumbles or they bounce back strong. I think they crumble, I’ll lay the 2.5 with North Carolina.

Pick: UNC -2.5

There you go. A very interesting 6 pack this week. I can tell you those are all winners. Feels like a big week for us. I love this board; there are so many games I’m going to take. Below, I have the rest of the 12 pack for those of you who want even more winners. Again, I love this board. Remember, every pick is a winner until it’s not.

7. Tulane -4.5

8. Iowa State +5

9. Duke -3.5

10. Fresno State -4.5

11. Louisville -7

12. Florida +2
